This episode  is the first of two with Mary and in this podcast she talks about setting up her debt-collection business and how she became aware of the need to be more emotionally receptive to the people she was talking to and the importance of the language she used to communicate. The aim of Mary’s agency was, that at the end of the each call, people were happier because they felt their concerns had been listened to and understood. Mary also discusses the role of communication in leadership and what it takes to be a good leader.
