Dr Russell Thackeray - A motivational and engaging speaker
Dr Russell Thackeray is the CEO, founder and driving force behind QED Organisational Development, an innovative O&D company helping leaders and their organisations achieve improved performance and results.
Russell is a slightly different voice in a crowded market. A voice focusing on results and performance (blending statistics, neuroscience and ’soft skills') and measuring what really matters rather than what is easy. His focus is on treating people as ‘adults’ rather than as cosseted babies, seeking out and concentrating on the genuine potential of other people rather than worrying about fads and trends.
Talent issues, mental health challenges and performance gaps existed before Covid so using the same techniques and methods will simply create the same sub optimal results. Time for some fresh thinking? It may be irritating and infuriating to hear, but it can also be illuminating and inspirational!
Russell backs up words with action. In his career he has woeked as an operational leader and manager, wrestling with the same challenges you face rather than simply being a speaker or a trainer basing their words on re-hashed ideas and whatever seems trendy today. He also has an academic doctorate that shows a rigour and depth of thinking in practical leadership issues that mean sound business psychology and strategies are based on proof rather than opinion.
Experience and career
Dr Thackeray works across all levels, genders and hierarchies and can draw on a wide breadth of experience of business and life.
